Stamford bridge is falling down

I watched for the umpteen time yesterday Chelsea FC dropping points against a team that on paper they should take to the cleaners. At the end of the game yesterday it then really dawned on me that the bridge is sinking and if some drastic is not done as soon as possible Chelsea could be Liverpool next season.

Don’t get me wrong, I am a fervent Chelsea supporter, that’s the reason why I am this worked up. I just don’t want us to sink like Liverpool. The signs are there for us all to see; Chelsea’s coaching staff and aging players seem to have run out of ideas. I think it is time to over haul the team or else we are heading for disaster.

Height discrimination

Today I spent two and half hours searching for a size 38 Long Trouser all through the high street shops and ended up not buying it because I could not find my trouser length in any of the shop.

I could not understand it, how is it possible, I have the money to buy the trouser, I really wanted to buy a trouser but I could not find one trouser my size across all the high street shops even the small shops. They all have clothes only for regular and short people, so if you 6ft 4inchs tall and above tough luck.

It then dawned on me, that we tall people are being discriminated against. I went home today really disappointed, the price I have to pay for being tall, and that really SUCKS. So I guess it is wacko jacko style from now on.

Matchoptions

Today is my first year anniversary since I was promoted to recruitment branch manager and my second year anniversary since I joined Matchoptions Recruitment, it seems like yesterday. I am planning to have a quiet celebration, have a quiet glass of wine, nothing major people are still being made redundant here and there.

So please, join me where ever you are and have a quiet celebration too. And as for those that have been made redundant it is just a matter of time, I am sure you will get back on the horse, keep you head up and keep looking, a job is out there waiting for you.

itv declare Profit in 2009

It was at least the only good news on a soggy wednesday morning just like most days of the week, itv declares profit as against the loss sufferred in 2008, what was it again, yes £2.73bn loss WOH. So it is at least good news that they posted profits in 2009. i would really hate to see shows like coronation street, britain got talent, x-factor and ofcourse Champions league axed because of bad management. £2.73bn loss and i thought banker were the only ones on holiday through out the year.
